A clear first step for families

Choosing a different educational path can feel like a decision, especially when a young person’s needs, confidence or circumstances have changed. Lotus Academy begins with a conversation. You do not need to arrive with every answer. Tell us about your young person and the situation. We will listen, explain how the Lotus approach works and explore whether it could offer a clearer way forward.

  1. Begin with a conversation

    Book a time or send an enquiry. Tell Lotus what is happening now, why you are considering a different path and what you hope could change.

  2. Help us understand your young person

    Share the strengths, needs, interests, experiences and circumstances that matter. Families do not need to arrive with a complete answer, formal plan or perfect explanation.

  3. Explore whether Lotus may be the right fit

    Lotus will explain its approach and consider the young person's needs alongside the way the academy works. This should remain a conversation about fit, not a one-size-fits-all judgement.

  4. Consider a possible pathway

    If there appears to be a helpful way forward, the conversation can move towards a clearer picture of direction, support and the questions that still need answering.

  5. Confirm the next step

    When the family and Lotus understand the proposed direction, the next step can be explained clearly. Any process, documentation, decision point or commitment must be verified.
